About us
GarSan Plumbing Services was founded by Esmeralda Sanchez and her husband Jose Garcia. It is a woman-owned, family-run company, and it is growing, family-run, and built around licensed supervision, quality workmanship and personal accountability.
Jose is the Responsible Master Plumber. That is a specific thing in Texas, not a marketing phrase: it is the top plumbing license the state issues, it is held by a named person rather than a company, and it carries legal responsibility for every job done under it. All of GarSan's plumbing work is performed under the supervision of Responsible Master Plumber Jose Garcia, RMP #44229.
That is also why we pull permits. Plenty of work in this market gets done without one, and it looks cheaper on the day. It stops looking cheaper when the house is being sold, or when an insurance claim gets denied because the work was never inspected. We would rather do it properly and tell you what it costs.
We are based in New Caney and cover Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita and the wider Northeast Houston and Lake Houston area. We are not trying to be the biggest plumbing company in Houston. We are trying to be the one your neighbor tells you to call.

How we work
A number over the phone with no diagnosis is a guess, and guesses go up once we are in your house.
If a repair will genuinely hold, we will say so, even when the replacement is worth more to us.
Unpermitted work is cheaper today and expensive at resale. We do not offer it as an option.
We are not a national call center. We keep real hours and we answer genuine emergencies after them, based on availability.

Jose is great. I found him on a FB page. Text him during Labor Day weekend. He responded professionally, was able to come and unclogged our drain. He didn’t ask a ridiculous price as it is the weekend! He’s also licensed!
