Most plumbing companies will not put a number on a website. We will, with the honest caveat that a price you read online is a starting point and not a quote. Here is what our work generally runs in New Caney, Kingwood, Humble and the surrounding area.
Service & diagnostic call
$125
Our standard residential service and diagnostic fee is $125. When repairs are approved and performed, the service-call fee may be waived depending on the scope of work. You'll receive pricing before repairs begin.
We quote residential service work by the job rather than billing by the hour, so you know the number before we start.

Why quotes differ
When two plumbers quote the same job very differently, it is usually one of these, not somebody being greedy or somebody being generous.
The cheapest quote is often the most expensive outcome. Unpermitted work fails at resale and on insurance claims, and rework costs more than doing it once.

We quote residential service work by the job rather than billing by the hour, so you know the number before we start. That way the number you approve is the number you pay for the work you approved, rather than watching a clock. If we open something up and find a bigger problem, we stop and re-quote before carrying on. We do not perform additional chargeable work without discussing the change and receiving your approval first.

Final pricing depends on access, materials and equipment, complexity, code requirements, permits and what we find in the existing system. You always get pricing for approval before any work begins.
Because publishing a number for them would be misleading. A generator gas line depends on footage, BTU demand, gas pressure, pipe sizing, meter capacity, regulators, trenching and permitting. A slab leak depends on whether we are detecting, isolating, repairing or rerouting. Those swing too widely for a starting price to mean anything useful.
We may accept emergency calls outside normal hours, including Sundays, based on availability. We do not publish a single fixed after-hours surcharge, and we do not advertise guaranteed 24/7 service. If you call outside hours we will tell you honestly whether we can get to you and what it involves.
Permit costs are part of the quote you approve. GarSan obtains required permits and coordinates inspections when required for the scope and jurisdiction. If a quote you have from anyone else does not mention a permit on work that legally needs one, that is worth asking about.
