A backflow preventer stops water from your building running backwards into the public supply. Most commercial properties, and a lot of irrigation systems, are required to have one and to have it tested on a schedule set by the water purveyor or the local authority.

Testing is carried out by a qualified tester. If it fails, we quote the repair or replacement before doing it.
The result goes to whoever asked for it, so the requirement is closed out properly.
